Can’t make it out on these dates? Luckily, there are lots of cool, permanent local places to purchase memorable Christmas gifts, including year-round farmers’ markets, High Street, Tix on the Square, the Carrot, the Art Gallery of Alberta, the Alberta Craft Council, 104 Street (including Jacek Chocolate, who has an Advent calendar available, and Habitat), and a few other independent places we’re rather fond of. (Plus, watch the blog later this month and into December for posts about places to buy for that specific someone, whether they’re athletic, a DIY-er or fashionista, plus other cool gift guides.)
