1. In the context of our City’s growth, how will you support the development of existing communities as opposed to new neighbourhoods? |

As a Councillor , all communities existing or new I will treated equally. However, I am aware, sometimes needs of one community can be different and a greater from the needs of others communities. To find money for all my communities ,will never be a problem for me, and will be always my priority job. I am applying for a position City Councillor, to forever close some of drastic divisions between people of Edmonton.

2. How will you support and promote independent locally-owned businesses in Edmonton? |

This topic has a lot of positive and negative side. As a City Councillor I will always support and promote locally-owned businesses in our City, in Canada and even in Europe. Local business has always been and always will be an indicator of the development and prosperity of any city of the world and the City of Edmonton. I just give you one of my many idea related to the local business. I will create program ” Best in the City”. City will be offered financial assistance and the various of way of development and promotion of the local business. Those who take part in the program, and make good progress, the city will reward. |

3. How will you support local food and urban agriculture in Edmonton? |

Food become expensive in Edmonton, like in any city in Canada. Just go to the local community market. Those who produce food, they ask the high prices for products. But those who buy food want the lowest prices as possible. The reasons of this drastic public phenomenon are very different. Food it is issue not only for local government, but also provincial and federal as well. Any time I will preparing discussion about food, I want to see, invite to talk to the city, people from both side. Producers and consumers. |

4. How will you address Indigenous Edmontonians’ history and needs? |

I am not sure if I understand this question 100 %. So I must first find solution for many social problems in our city. Straight up the city. Make Edmontonians smile more often. When I will be sure, I already help me people of Edmonton, fill up and satisfy their needs, then I will continue work on our history. |

5. How do you envision the public transit system evolution? |

I will always support any of the resolutions relating to the public transit system. Modern city ,can’t exist without a modern public transit system. I dream , one day Edmonton will have modern transit system fully environmentally friendly. All buses will be change for electric car. |

6. What will you do to better engage post-secondary research / students / faculty with the rest of the community? |

I will meet with people and students, I will motivated, convinced and encourage them, to join citizen cooperation. |

7. Councillor candidates: What is the biggest challenge your Ward faces? What solutions would you seek? |

My biggest challenge in Ward 6 is – people with low income, people who living in apartment buildings, 3600 homeless, 1600 mothers with children living in shelters, about 1400 kids live in poverty. Solutions: 1 Create Edmonton Citizen Justice Card, 2 Introduce legal Regulations of the amount of rent (regulate the fees for renting an apartment), 3 Expand programs, for the constriction social and community housing, 4 I will motivated and persuaded the centers for New comers, and any other charity organizations, for better and more effective work. 5 Help people with various addiction more efficiently and effectively, 6 Easer access to affordable dental care, free legal assistance, free easy access to psychologist, 7 I establish “Edmonton Safety Large Family Card, 8 Eliminate Unemployment. etc..,etc. |
