Thank you to everyone who made our first Green Drinks of the season a success! The Green Drinks and Local Good teams were pleased to welcome federal election candidates to our first event of the season. Guests met and mingled with those in the room, and learned a little more about the representatives from diverse parties in Edmonton. Still have questions before voting day on Oct 19, 2015? You can catch our intermediate Green Drinks on Campus at Dewey’s at the University of Alberta on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 7 p.m., to celebrate Sustainability Awareness Week. Finally, Green Drinks: Greening your Home will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Yellowhead Brewery. Our featured guests (announced soon!) and attendees will be able to share information on how to make your home more sustainable, through backyard bees or chickens, composting, green energy and retrofits, and more.
