Storify: A holiday Cash Mob on 124 Street

We came, we saw, we Mobbed! The Local Good and Cash Mob Edmonton, with generous promotional and transportation help from the City of Edmonton, put on the biggest Cash Mob this city has ever seen! Mayor Don Iveson and councillors Scott McKeen and Dave Loken were all on hand to show their support for the businesses on High Street and 124 Street. Most importantly, businesses in the area reported a notable increase in foot traffic and sales. 
 
We encourage everyone to keep it up and support the 124 Street area long after this Cash Mob is through. It’s important to us to show our support for local small businesses in this neighborhood until the 102 Avenue bridge reopens (and beyond)!
