What an amazing evening! Green Drinks celebrated YEG Activism and Advocacy last night and The Common was packed! Another sold out evening with great conversation, fantastic folks and a whole lot of local action.

The Edmonton and Area Land Trust conserves natural areas for people and for wildlife, and we love to work with volunteers. Help us improve riparian habitat at our Weeding for Wildlife event on June 8 and 15.
 
Edmonton Bicycle Commuters – http://edmontonbikes.ca/
West Downtown Complete Streets is in coalition building mode. If you live near or use 102 or 105th Ave as a bike route, EBC would love your email address in order to build our mailing list. They’re looking for help in reaching out to affected citizens and businesses on the route.
 
Growing Food Secure Alberta – http://www.foodsecurityalberta.org/
Advocate for a national school food program as a key component of a national food policy by sending a message to your MP via email or Twitter.
 
Public Interest Alberta – http://ourwaterisnotforsale.com/
Help stop the establishment of a province wide water market by signing on to Our Water is Not for Sale Network and send a message to the Premier and the Minister of the Environment. 
 
Commit to coming to the fourth annual healing walk: a walk of healing and prayer led by the Keeper’s of the Athabasca and First Nations communities in the tar sands region in July.
